Find Your Personal Style
Each bathroom should meet the personal needs and interests of a particular homeowner. You’ll want your bathroom to suite your particular needs as well. As you peruse the photos, note what you like and don’t like. When fashioning your ideal bath, knowing what you don’t care for is as important as articulating what you want to include.
To devise a soothing, spa-like retreat, for example, choose serene colors and tile or stone finishes that make for a smooth, polished look. If textured warmth is more your idea of comfort, make room for terry cloth-covered stool and an antique-look furniture-style vanity. Or perhaps you are hoping to continue the period style of the rest of your home in the bath. In an Arts and Crafts-style home this may mean installing wide white trim around doors and windows and white-painted beaded-board wainscoting on the wall.
If you are unsure about which look is right for you and your family, we have prepared a simple questionnaire that will assist you in identifying your preferred style.
